Friends come and go. Teresa, a good friend I often hang out with, has to go back to Italy for good :( Of course we're still friends but it won't be easy anymore to reach each other in our everyday :(

I kinda lost my friend this last 3 months. Suddenly I just lost contact. I tried to call her at home, cell or sms but no reply at all. Gladly, days ago I met her husband and he told me that his wife-my friend is sick.
Three months? What kinda sickness? Is it so bad? Husband said she got depression and have to meet counselor regularly. Eh? I never realize that she has such a big problem that makes her depression. But then husband told me again that it's because she keeps thinking of her 2 years marriage but still no kid yet. Oh...
Well, what can I say. I just thx God that I'm not a person who like to dive into a sadness of a failure. I'm not that good in thinking so deep of my bad times. My fave quote is forget and go on (donno quote from who though :D) and my two cents is: keep hoping is good as long as it doesn't contain question 'why'.

Just back from massage. I read an ad in local newspaper about newly open massage house and since it just around the block, I decide to give it a try.
Foot reflection massage was super but the back massage was...na...ja...it feels like someone rub my back instead of massaging hehe...But because the lady was nice, I wasnt really dissapointed. Will back there again for foot massage.
The tool I have here is even better than her. Can you recognize this tool? Sara, a friend of us was quite amused when she saw it in our living room. She thought its a sex toy and she was amazed how could we put sex toy in living room! Hehehe...

Hang out with some Turkish fellows today and they asked me if I know 'Tarkan'. Hm, who is this Tarkan?And they looked at me like I have three feets and two heads! You dont know Tarkan??!!! He's so damn famous! Not only in Turkey or DE but everywhere! he speaks and sings English and lives in State!Oh god I'm sorry...But I really dont know him...And one girl said I'm boring, have no time to listening music. That I must be have no idea about music. I must be only listen music from my home country! What??!! I feel insulted! Music is my life! I listen to all kinda music till I dont like them anymore. From keroncong till housemusic. From Uriah Heep till Tokio Hotel (even not my kind of music). The first thing I do in the morning when just wake up is turn on music! How dare someone said I have no idea about music? So tell me if this Tarkan is just whatever guy or is it me really out of date? If yes, then it's karma since I spoil the funny feeling when someone doesn't know who is Tom Cruise 
So a very 'women-ly' friend of mine just got a new boyfriend. They love each other of course...but her new bf is a very 'macho' man! Whats the problem instead of those six packs and strong arms? Ahem... This guy just awarded as a 'hero' cos he saved some kids from wild crocodile attack and now he will go to hunt crocodiles in the somewhere jungle of Australia...and he likes to take girlfriend too. "Oh...then I can not use my high heels there! And how about my make up?? Do you think I need to bring those blinking earrings? I need to use special lotion, yes? Do you have any idea where to buy very ladies style sport shoes? Red lipstick is too horror in the jungle? Oh I'm not sure about the weather! This is crappy! Can I do sun bathing while he's lurking for crocodile?? Is bikini needed?" And I don't know all the answer! Never been hunting crocodiles before! 
| | Rosenmontag (literally "Roses Monday") is the highlight of the German "Karneval" (carnival), and is on the Collop Monday before Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent. This event can be compared to "Mardi Gras," though is celebrated on Monday, not Tuesday. It is celebrated in German-speaking countries, including Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, but most heavily in the "Hochburgen", German carnival strongholds, which include the Rhineland (especially Aachen, Cologne, Düsseldorf, and Mainz).
The Karneval season begins at the 11th of November and the "street carnival" starts on the Thursday before Rosenmontag, which is known as Weiberfastnacht ("women's carnival").
Carnival is not a national holiday, but schools are closed on Rosenmontag and the following Tuesday in the strongholds and many other areas. Many schools as well as companies tend to give teachers, pupils and employees the friday before Rosenmontag off as well and have celebrations in school or in the working place on Weiberfastnacht, although every now and then there are efforts to cut these free holidays in some companies.
Celebrations usually include dressing up in fancy costumes, dancing, parades, heavy drinking and general public displays of debauchery.
Things quiet down the next day, for it is "Veilchendienstag" (Shrove Tuesday). Rosenmontag also takes place all over the country and is very popular, people that watch the parade are also dressed up, sweets are thrown everywhere and everyone says "Helau" (Mainz area) or "Alaaf" (Cologne area) - a great experience for the young and young at heart. Visitors should be careful which of these words to use in which special region. Use of the wrong word can be interpreted as favoring a rivalling city or region and is considered offensive.

Just back from holiday, visit in laws. And during my holiday I couldn't stop thinking of this woman. I should write it down here or I'll get pimples on my nose.
So...she is a 30 years old woman, not a German nor Indonesian but lives in Germany for 10 years already. She speaks German almost perfect and its an advantage for me cos I can learn from her also. But somehow something pathetic with this woman:
DIALOGUE 1
She : What did you do last weekend?
I : I went to Metropolis to watch movie
She : Metropolis?
I : Yeah its a small cinema in Köln which play movies in original language
She : Ah. So what was the movie you watch?
I : Lions for Lambs
She : What movie was that? American movie?
I : Yes, with Tom Cruise
She : What is that Tom Cruise? A cruiser ship?
I : huh?
DIALOGUE 2
She : (watching my holiday photo album with hubby in Bali last year) Hey, you both are wearing football uniform!
I : Ah ya, that's Brazil uniform! We went to Australian pub to tease Australian while they played against Brazil team in World Cup!
She : You and your husband against Australian or Brazilian?
I : We were Brazil supporter in enemy's pub. Quite amusing!
She : I didn't know you play football!
I : I didn't play football! We were just supporter and watch them on TV. You know...last year, the World Cup (in Germany)
She : Eh? What is World Cup?
I : (knockin' on heavens's door!!)
Boy!! She's not kidding!
I thought to live (and not just a visit) in other country is not only about speak the language, but we have to learn and see everything around us. Hm...now I'm afraid if she doesn't know who is Angela Merkel.

 Miami...New Orleans...London, Belfast and Berlin....Just like to sing. Hi Bono! Ok, maybe it's not real date but meeting someone new for the first time. Let say you never see his pic before, only email or talk by internet or phone. And how to deal with it when the guy you meet is far from your expectation? First, ask him to meet in lunch time: - So if it too boring for you, you can make an excuse that you need to back to office soon.
- If he knows you don’t have office, asks your friend to call you in certain time. If the meting is fine, you can simply tell your friend that everything OK. But if it boring then you can tell your new mate that you have to leave cos someone just called for important needs.
- Or easier, pretend u received sms for urgent needs. Make sure the cell is in silent mode.
- If all of them don’t work, simply run away from him and yelling ‘Oh my god! I left my kid alone at home!!!!’
(number one and two always work for me :p)

Yesterday I was so busy with phone calls. After Gwyneth called me for hours, then it’s my best friend’s turn. She called me for another hours (she already called me twice the earlier hours) and complained why men always avoid her. Hm. Well, my best friend is quite fun to hang out and has plenty of male fans but somehow she find it difficult to get the right men for right relationship among a bunch of her male friends and the question is simply ‘why’. I’m sure it’s not only her having that problem. I heard this issue from many girls before; a lonely, popular, nice, pretty, fun, fearless female. And my best friend, beside popular, nice, pretty, fun and fearless…she’s also smart! So logically its kinda unbelievable if she’s having difficulties to find boyfriend. “Am I too smart for men?”
“Am I too brave for men?”
“Am I too independent for men?”
“Is it my salary had made men freak out?” Above are some of her questions. (First she use word ‘are we’ instead of ‘am I’ but then I correct her that I already found my right guy for my right relationship). To be honest I don’t know what’s wrong with her. I tried to put myself into a man’s brain and these are my thought; Maybe she’s too much confident, but it won’t be a problem. Woman who has no confident is simply cannot respect her own capability. Maybe she’s lil bit noisy but well…women are always noisy, aren’t they? And too brave? I like brave woman who always dare for challenge instead of running from the chance. Maybe she’s too independent and I will look powerless in front of her. Oh hell no! Women is a women…no matter how independent she is, she will always need a man in her soul. Maybe her salary is more than me, so what? I think it’s even better. I’m not afraid if she will control me. She may rule me but I will rule her world. Well…that’s my thought as a woman who pretends to be a man. I don’t know what the true men might say…She needs enlightenment words from men being.
Just got call from Clarine, a long lost friend. She said she saw me earlier nights in Tiga Puluh and she said I was snob cos I didn’t say hello to her. I told her I’m sorry that I didn’t see her, how can I say hello. It’s her snob cos she saw me but didn’t said hello. She said she didn’t said hello cos I was with someone and keep saying that I was snob cos I didn’t even look at her and say hello. Oh....
