Blog EntryIn Jakarta again!Sep 26, '06 12:29 AM
for everyone
Finally I’m back fresh again after got jet lag. Yesterday arrived at Jakarta at 2pm and after ate a huge portion of nasi padang (damn yum yum!) I fall asleep at 8pm at my beloved bed. But at 11pm I awoke and couldn’t sleep again till 04.30 after had eat for sahur.

From Muscat to Jakarta, its only passenger in the plane; me, Gwen (a French girl who will get married with Indonesian badminton player this December), 4 foreigners guy and the rest are TKW. The good thing was that each person can have two or three seats for themselves but the bad things were; it was turbulence the whole way from Muscat to Jakarta, so we really 8 hours had to keep the seat belt. It almost made all people got airsick

Another the bad thing, and this is the worst thing, I guess…are the group of TKW. They are nice, always smile and looked so happy to back home again. But well…I noticed, every times TKW on the plane, the toilet always bloody dirty and the floor under their seats always full of garbage.

I think before they went to abroad for work, they would get a kind of education how to live and work abroad as maid. What for do and for don’t. But maybe the organization that sent them to abroad forgot to teach them how’s the manners on the plane. When the plane took off and landing, it’s always difficult (very difficult!) for air attendant to make them fold the table, used the seat belt, close the window, etc. Even one of the stewardesses spoke bahasa, it wasn’t really help. Most of the TKW were stubborn. They opened again the seat belt when the air attendance away. Opened the table, close the window…euh! Only watched them make me stress already. No wonder if the air attendance face suddenly turned to ugly when they saw the group came the plain hehe…

for everyone
In Germany again and get confused by German keyboard again :p
The trip was ok but the airline was crap.

From the beginning Gulf Air already delayed for 25 mins from Jakarta to Muscat and the seat for around 9 hours trip was crap! Small seat with no footstep, no private TV...but I was safe by the boy who sat next to me and by the cool flight attendant. The boy who sat next to me had a cough so he always asked more food and more wine to make his throat feel warm, so there he goes...he became drunk and talk so funny. He was on the way back to France from his first visit to Bali and he had so many drunk questions and so many drunk statements regarding his what he saw and what he felt in Bali and Jakarta (hi was more confused in Jakarta, I know :p)

In Muscat we had to separate. He continued to Bahrain with hard try cos he was barely sober enough to see what his flight gate hehe...And as the schedule, I had to wait for 5 hours in Seeb Muscat Airport. And bloody hell....nuthing to see in Muscat Airport and no comfy place to sleep like in Dubai :(

Boarding right on time and yippie! This time I had larger seat, private TV and footstep. But...err...lala...la...hm....yawz...the plane didn't move at all for 1 hour! Bloody hell...I started to feel very irritated!

From Muscat we supposed to fly to Frankfurt via Bahrain and we didn't need to go off in Bahrain. But another surprise from Gulf, we had to went off from the plane in Bahrain and had to wait 2 hours!!!! Maybe even more
When finally we can fly to Frankfurt, the plane changed into ugly plane again. Oh come ooon...its a longer trip than Muscat-Bahrain! We supposed to have that large seat and private tv! No one can safe me now even that cool flight attendant cos they change the crew as well. Blah!

Arrived in Frankfurt at 10.20 am. Late 4 hours from the schedule. Euh Gulf....bad seat, bad schedule, bad food. Believe or not we only got one muffin and juice for lunch. No wonder I quite surprised when I read in their in-flight magazine, they said that they got an award for the best business and economy catering and best flight in middle east. Blah, this must be a joke!

At least when I already in Kerpen, my boyfriend welcome me with a lots of surprises
And even lil bit jet lag still, we have to go to Madonna concert tonight. Yippie! all my anger to Gulf was gone!
